Description: Solutions Business Manager (SBM) is a workflow system that integrates process tracking and enforcement of software development, delivery, and operations across an organization. The software includes a collaborative Work Center, IT Service Management, Request Management, Release Management, and a drag and drop workflow layout in SBM Composer.

Note: This technology was rebranded from Serena Business Manager to Solutions Business Manager.

This technology can use Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Oracle database to store data.

This entry covers the Desktop Edition of this technology and not any mobile versions. Users must ensure sensitive data is properly protected in compliance with all VA regulations. Prior to use of this technology, users should check with their supervisor, Information Security Officer (ISO), Facility Chief Information Officer (CIO), or local Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) representative to ensure that all actions are consistent with current VA policies and procedures prior to implementation.
