Description: Facility Management Solutions (FMS) provides the underlying platform for FMS modules and applications to run with external platforms. This technology unifies geospatial and non-geospatial data and uses location as an organizing principle to create order out of complex information. Facility Management Solutions provides core functionality for data management, system integration, centralized administration, security management, reporting services, and mobile access to data.

Note: This product has been rebranded to Facility Management Solutions from InVision Foundation.

There is no specific webpage for this technology, thus the vendor`s website is used in its place.

InVision Foundation uses either a Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server Database or Oracle Database to store data. The databases can either be deployed on-premise or in the cloud.

This entry covers the Desktop Edition of this technology and not any mobile versions. Please note that the implementation of mobile technology applications that operate on Mobile Operating Systems must be reviewed and approved by the Mobile Technology and Endpoint Security Engineering Team: http://vaww.eie.va.gov/SysDesign/CS/MT/default.aspx.

The TRM decisions in this entry only apply to technologies and versions owned, operated, managed, patched, and version-controlled by VA.
