Description: MestReNova (Mnova) is a multipage, multivendor, multitechnique, and multiplatform analytical chemistry software designed as a container for Mnova plug-ins. The Mnova installer works as a container for all Mnova specific plug-ins and modules that can be purchased individually or in combination with others. These plug-ins can analyze and report Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) data and optimize and enhance workflows. Users must initially install the basic Mnova multiplatform.

There are three editions, which consist of Mnova Suite Basic, Mnova Suite Chemist, and Mnova Suite Expert. Each edition has a separate license, which allows users to download the additional plug-ins. This assessment covers the Mnova Basic Suite, which has modules that are bundled with the software and cannot be downloaded separately. Higher editions are not considered as they can introduce third-party add-ons and vendor modules to the network.

Mnova is comprised of Mnova NMR, NMRPredict, and Mnova Mass Spectrometry (MS). NMRPredict includes its own internal proprietary database, which holds library information about spectral peaks correlated to atomic structure. The NMRPredict database structure is hidden, non-configurable by the user, and stored on the user`s local hard drive as part of the Mnova installation.
