Description: Kendo User Interface (UI) is a Hypertext Markup Language-Level 5 (HTML5) UI framework for creating websites and applications. This technology includes JavaScript UI components with libraries for jQuery, Angular, React, and Vue. Kendo UI features UI widgets, a data visualization framework, an auto-adaptive mobile framework, and applications needed for HTML5 application development, such as data source, templates, Model View ViewModel (MVVM), and a drag-and-drop libraries.

This technology does not utilize a database to store data.

This technology is available in five editions: Kendo UI for jQuery, Angular, React, Vue, and Kendo UI Core (Open-source limited features). This entry covers all five editions.

This entry covers the Desktop Edition of this technology and not any mobile versions. Users must ensure sensitive data is properly protected in compliance with all VA regulations. Prior to use of this technology, users should check with their supervisor, Information Security Officer (ISO), Facility Chief Information Officer (CIO), or local Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) representative to ensure that all actions are consistent with current VA policies and procedures prior to implementation.
