Description: Clinical Outcomes Reporting Informatics (CORI2) is a comprehensive quality software designed specifically for use in endoscopy. This technology supports the entire endoscopic procedures process from scheduling the patient to faxing a report to the referring provider. Also, the querying capabilities provide giving access to procedure data so that there is ongoing communication of practice patterns and outcomes.

CORI2 comes packaged with a database that runs on an instance of Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server controlled by the organization. CORI2 reads and writes to that database. Additionally, CORI2 sends messages to Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) via an interface, to upload reports. The data stored on the SQL Server is not encrypted.
