Description: Canva is a graphic design and publishing technology. This technology`s interface can be used by anyone from novice to experienced designer. Canva includes customizable templates, 100+ design types, and access to 100+ million premium stock photos, videos, audio, and graphics that can be applied to many social media sites, commercial sites, and traditional media such as print, presentations, flyers and video.

The Canva application has products for the web, mobile and a downloadable desktop version for Windows and MacOS.

This technology is available in three editions; Canva Free, Canva Pro, and Canva for Teams. This entry covers all three desktop editions.
  • Canva Free is free for individuals with limited access to templates and photos.
  • Canva Pro is a paid subscription for individuals with premium access to templates and photos. Canva Pro is a free subscription for non-profit or government organizations providing health care.
  • Canva for Teams is for organizations. It is a paid subscription for commercial organizations. It is a free subscription for Educational organizations. Canva for Teams has premium access for templates and photos. It is set up for group collaboration with workplace tools and approval workflows.
The TRM decisions in this entry only apply to technologies and versions owned, operated, managed, patched, and version-controlled by VA. Prior to use of this technology, users should check with their supervisor, Information Security Officer (ISO), Facility Chief Information Officer (CIO), or local Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) representative to ensure that all actions are consistent with current VA policies and procedures prior to implementation.
