Description: The Radiological Society of North America`s (RSNA) Clinical Trials Processor (CTP) is an open source image processing technology used to exchange, index and retrieve images and documents for imaging clinical trials. Developed under the Medical Imaging Resource Community (MIRC) project, CTP can manage and move data securely between field centers and principal sites in multisite imaging clinical trials.

CTP supports industry-standard transport protocols to function with all commercial picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). CTP also works with Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) data for research purposes. CTP removes Protected Health Information (PHI) from images to be shared anonymously for clinical imaging trials.

This technology does not utilize a database.
