Description: Mitel Net Server is a communications server that allows integration with internet protocol (IP) unified communications and mobile applications. Mitel Net Server is pre-installed on the IPedge system and manages Call Manager users, other application login credentials, and user groups. Previously, this technology was loaded on a separate server or personal computer (PC), but it is now included with the Mitel IPedge Application Server solution which runs on Linux or on a Media Application Server (MAS) Standalone Automated Call Distribution (ACD) system which supports Windows clients and servers.

Note: This technology was formerly known as Toshiba Net Server. Mitel Completes Acquisition of Toshiba Unified Communications Systems Business Assets. Mitel is now the owner of Net Server.
