Description: Phoneview is a Cisco phone endpoint management program that allows the advanced manipulation of one to several thousand internet protocol (IP) phones. It provides automated grouping of phones, historical log of interactions with all phones, real-time interaction with remote phone(s), and users can send text messages to multiple phones.

The technology interacts with the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager) and the built-in web server within each Cisco IP Phone, so network connectivity from the client personal computer (PC) to these devices is therefore required.

Version 6.0 introduces PhoneFX, which is a web-based single phone remote control application that is ideal for Help Desk, minor engineering and training scenarios. This is a standalone product that can also be used with PhoneView.

This technology has four editions: Enterprise, Lab, Engineer, and 21 Day Trial. This assessment covers all four editions.
