Description: The Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST) is a computerized application used to assess executive functioning, perseveration, and abstract thinking. The test shows a group of cards and the subject must sort them, without being given a specific way to sort them. The subject of the test is then told whether the card is sorted correctly, enabling clinicians to assess a client`s strategic planning, organized searching, and ability to utilize environmental feedback to shift cognitive sets, direct behavior toward achieving a goal, and modulate impulsive responding.

This product stores client (demographic) data including first name, last name, date of birth, age, gender, ethnicity, occupation, and education, as well as client test results (WCST scores). The data is stored in a proprietary database located within PAR software on the user`s hard drive at (User Name)\Documents\PAR,Inc\WCST Software Portfolio\Clients. Within the software, the end-user will have the option to save the client`s data at that default location. The location of the database can be changed within the software. The data is saved as a .wcf file that can only be opened with the software. Data encryption is not supported.
