General Information

Description: ScanSnap Organizer is an software used for displaying and organizing image files, which were scanned using the ScanSnap scanners. Users can use this technology to display image data without opening them, create folders and arrange files accordingly. Pages of a Portable Document Format (PDF) file can also be flipped through in thumbnails to verify the scanned image data.

Note: Different Scanner Models may run various patch levels of this software.

Users must ensure sensitive data is properly protected in compliance with all VA regulations. Prior to use of this technology, users should check with their supervisor, Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Facility Chief Information Officer (CIO), or local Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) representative to ensure that all actions are consistent with current VA policies and procedures prior to implementation.
