Description: Bio-Rad Mission: Control - Agent is a downloadable component of BioRad Mission: Control that allows users to interface with the Unity Real Time (URT) Quality Control (QC) data management software and with the Bio-Rad Mission: Control web database. This technology allows users to interface their QC data between Bio-Rad Mission: Control and URT. The Agent is a small desktop application downloaded from BioRad Mission: Control.

This technology interfaces with Unity Real Time (URT), which collects QC data from VA laboratories and stores the data in an encrypted Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server central database that resides on VA servers.

Note: Bio-Rad Mission: Control is a web-based application that Bio-Rad has hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud. The scope of this entry only covers the Agent downloadable component of Bio-Rad Mission: Control.

The TRM decisions in this entry only apply to technologies and versions owned, operated, managed, patched, and version-controlled by VA. This includes technologies deployed as software installations on VMs within VA-controlled cloud environments (e.g. VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC)). Cloud services provided by the VAEC, which are listed in the VAEC Service Catalog, and those controlled and managed by an external Cloud Service Provider (i.e. SaaS) are not in the purview of the TRM. For more information on the use of cloud services and cloud-based products within VA, including VA private clouds, please see the Enterprise Cloud Solutions Office (ECSO) Portal at: https://dvagov.sharepoint.com/sites/OITEPMOECSO

Please note that there is no specific product page for this technology and thus the vendor webpage is used in its place.
