Description: The ROTEM connect software is used with the ROTEM delta Analyzer. The ROTEM delta is a non-invasive diagnostic instrument designed to monitor and analyze the coagulation state of a blood sample to assist in the assessment of patient clinical blood hemostatic and coagulation conditions. The ROTEM delta Analyzer can be placed on the network, and with ROTEM connect deployed on the hospital server, the end-user gains real-time access to patient-specific measurements from single or multiple devices at one or multiple assigned remote locations.

Users must ensure sensitive data is properly protected in compliance with all VA regulations. Prior to use of this technology, users should check with their supervisor, Information Security Officer (ISO), Facility Chief Information Officer (CIO), or local Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) representative to ensure that all actions are consistent with current VA policies and procedures prior to implementation.
