Description: ClinCheck Pro is a program developed specifically for doctors registered on the Invisalign.com website and using an Invisalign treatment program for their patients. ClinCheck Pro is used to diagnose and treat patient malocclusion (misalignment or incorrect relation between the teeth) prior to functional restoration of the teeth. ClinCheck Pro provides a three-dimensional (3D) virtual representation of a ClinCheck Pro treatment plan that is developed from a doctor`s orthodontic prescription. The application can also be used to exchange information with Align about any changes the doctor would like to make to the treatment plan. When the doctor approves a treatment plan, aligners are manufactured and sent to the doctor to use in an Invisalign treatment.

NOTE: Invisalign treatment consists of a series of aligners that a patient switches out about every two weeks. Each aligner is individually manufactured with exact calculations to gradually shift the patient`s teeth into place. The website listed is for doctors who are registered and using the ClinCheck Pro software. All data created by this technology is stored on Amazon cloud servers with copies being saved on the user`s local drive. No database is required.

The TRM decisions in this entry only apply to technologies and versions owned, operated, managed, patched, and version-controlled by VA.
