Description: Cirrhosis Order Set and Clinical Decision Support (CirrODS) is software used within clinical workflow to assist in identifying, verifying, and ordering procedures for potential cirrhotic patients within the veteran population. This software utilizes access to Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) in order to provide real-time access to read functionality, such as labs, current orders, and notes, as well as write functionality, such as ordering procedures and writing clinical notes, in a focused workflow. CirrODS can be hosted either on-premises or in the Cloud.

CirrODS utilizes the Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server database for audit and research logging. Additionally, this software includes VistA Integration Adapter (VIA), for authentication and read/write to VistA.

Note: This software was developed in-house under Health Services Research & Development (HSR&D), therefore, no website exists at the time of writing.

The TRM decisions in this entry only apply to technologies and versions owned, operated, managed, patched, and version-controlled by VA.
