Description: The Spirometry Longitudinal Data Analysis (SPIROLA) software is an integrated visual and quantitative technology to aid in monitoring lung function in individuals participating in spirometry-based health monitoring programs. SPIROLA enables the user to monitor spirometry tests` quality grades and longitudinal data precision for a monitoring program. This monitoring also provides a basis on which to determine an appropriate limit of longitudinal decline in individuals.

SPIROLA requires a spirometry database to store spirometry data. SPIROLA can use Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, text files, Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, or any Open Database Connectivity (ODBC)-compliant database to store spirometry data. In addition to the spirometry database, this technology utilizes Microsoft Access 2010 to automatically create an Administrative Database. This database stores questionaire results and intervention plans, which may contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII)/Personal Health Information (PHI). The user has the ability to password protect this database.
