Description: Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Software Suite is a technology that allows users to view, understand and optimize key functional areas of data center infrastructure management from a single platform. This software provides users the asset management, operational monitoring and connectivity management functionality.

This technology is a collection of functions rather than a collection of separate software.

This software has an instance that lives on the server and an instance that lives on the client side that functions as a Graphical User Interface (GUI).

The ITRACS DCIM Software is the new generation of the ITRACS Physical Layer Manager (PLM). The PLM handles network cabling and network infrastructure while the iTRACS DCIM Software handles the network cabling and infrastructure in addition to power and asset management. PLM reached its end of sale in August of 2017.

This technology was sold to CommScope by iTRACS in 2013.

TRM only assess drivers with a software component, and not the hardware. This entry is for the evaluation of the software drivers that support the device.
