Description: Medtronic Hemostasis Management System Plus External Data Manager (HMS Plus EDM) is a software program that is designed to work with data from the Medtronic HMS Plus device. HMS Plus EDM allows users to import patient and Quality Control (QC) data from one or more HMS Plus devices or from an HMS formatted data file, print standardized reports on that data, query (or review) the data utilizing a query data function, and manage HMS Plus User Identifications (IDs).

This software stores test results from the HMS Plus that contain User Identification (UID) and also Patient ID, gender, height and weight. Data is stored locally on the local Personal Computer (PC). The data is exported from the HMS Plus through a serial port to the HMS Plus EDM software which stores it in a Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) database.
