Description: Clinical Assessment of Attention Deficit-Adult (CAT-A) is a self-report software that is sensitive to the symptomatology of attention deficits both with and without hyperactivity for adults. This software consists of two parts: Part 1 (Childhood Memories) assesses the individual`s memories of his or her behaviors and sensations as a child; Part 2 (Current Symptoms) assesses parallel issues in adulthood. The CAT Software Portfolio (SP) scores and profiles an individual`s performance on the CAT-A. After demographic and item response information is hand-entered from a completed rating form, the CAT-SP generates CAT-A score reports.

This software saves client files locally on the user`s hard drive or on a network drive. Data can be saved in a location of the user`s choosing (such as a Word document on a personal computer or network in a location that is more secure). Users can then delete the client information from the software program, if desired. PAR cannot ever view or access client data from the software. The data that is stored includes demographic information, patient responses, and the report. Users can set a password at the startup so that the program cannot be accessed without that password.
