Description: iNexx Referrals is an application that allows providers within an iNexx Community to send, receive, and track referrals and patient care documentation electronically. In addition, providers across different healthcare settings can use referrals to collaborate around a specific patient. iNexx Referrals has a real-time status update function and an integrated chat function to coordinate care.

This technology runs on the Medicity Connect and the iNexx Platforms, which are installed on a host machine and accessed by users connected to the host machine via a local network connection.

This technology does not utilize a database, as data is saved locally on the host machine.

The TRM decisions in this entry only apply to technologies and versions owned, operated, managed, patched, and version-controlled by VA. This includes technologies deployed as software installations on VMs within VA-controlled cloud environments (e.g. VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC)).
