Description: VoiceArrest Sound Masking System is a system of hardware speakers and controllers that produce a background white noise that makes it harder to unintentionally overhear conversations made by other team members in the office. The Project Manager software is installed on a client computer to manage and control the system.

Note: This assessment solely covers the Project Manager software installed on a user`s computer, and not the associated hardware that is required. Users must ensure that the hardware is approved by the appropriate teams.

This entry covers the Desktop Edition of this technology and not any mobile versions. Users must ensure sensitive data is properly protected in compliance with all VA regulations. Prior to use of this technology, users should check with their supervisor, Information Security Officer (ISO), Facility Chief Information Officer (CIO), or local Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) representative to ensure that all actions are consistent with current VA policies and procedures prior to implementation.
