Description: The seca analytics 115 software is a patient health monitoring system for use with seca medical Body Composition Analyzer (mBCA) scales. This technology may connect to seca devices via Universal Serial Bus (USB) or wirelessly to seca 360 compatible wireless devices. This software monitors the results of routine measurements and tracks how certain patient measurement values develop over the course of time. This technology generates one-page reports that include patient body composition information and charts that summarize a patient`s Body Mass Index (BMI) and Fat Mass Indices (FMI) history.

Data generated by this technology is saved to the user`s local drive or an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system via Comma Separated Values (CSV), Health Level 7 (HL7), or Extensible Markup Language (XML) format.
Technology/Standard Usage Requirements: Users must ensure their use of this technology/standard is consistent with VA policies and standards, including, but not limited to, VA Handbooks 6102 and 6500; VA Directives 6004, 6513, and 6517; and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards, including Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS). Users must ensure sensitive data is properly protected in compliance with all VA regulations. Prior to use of this technology, users should check with their supervisor, Information Security Officer (ISO), Facility Chief Information Officer (CIO), or local Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) representative to ensure that all actions are consistent with current VA policies and procedures prior to implementation.
