Description: Motion software provides an interface to preview, record, manage, and export inertial measurement data captured by MotionNode sensor modules. The Motion software includes a live viewer to chart sensor data over the last 10 seconds, a user interface to configure and control the sensor devices, and a Windows notification icon to automatically detect and start reading from MotionNode sensor modules.

The software does not utilize a database to store data. Recorded measurement data is stored locally on the hard drive in the user Documents folder in a sub-folder named `Motion`. If the user is utilizing MotionNode Bus (a network share), the software can also store to a network drive. Measurement data is streamed to a proprietary file format called a `take` in the user Documents folder. The recordings are named by date and sequence number, for example `take/2016-02-13/0001`. The user then exports the data to a standard file format for analysis and viewing in their own external software package, which is not provided by Motion software. Motion supports third-party software that includes TRM-approved Microsoft Excel and MathWorks MATLAB.
