Salesforce EMS Shift Clearing is a cloud based module that allows Environmental Management Service organizations throughout the VA to track and manage on-duty staff to log and report incidents within the medical facility. Streamlining this process will be important, as VAMCs see an increased patient load due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Use case
The Salesforce Shift Clearing Module can be leveraged by any VA Medical Centers (VAMC) to log all EMS Shift activity to assure appropriate information is passed along effectively amongst EMS Supervisors. Supervisors can track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as incidents by location, incidents by shift, and average staff on duty based on incident severity. The Reports and Dashboard feature helps users view and analyze the data accessed via the web or mobile device in real-time. This empowers Supervisors to leverage data for performance management and employee accountability. It also allows Supervisors to generate detailed and meaningful reports to management. The module creates a consistent, repeatable process that’s completely mobile and easily accessible to all. It enables VAMC and EMS Organizations to be more organized, utilize less paper, pinpoint incidents and make data driven decisions.
