Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is moving from a disparate environment of stove-piped networks to a unified enterprise Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN) integrated architecture. Utilizing enterprise wide standards, the network infrastructure can offer a scalable and resilient transparent transport for all IT services and users.

Version 2.1 of this standard was released in February of 2019.
