Description: Helmberg-SCORE 5 is a supportive software that performs a standardized evaluation of genotyping results on a broad basis. The program relies on the principles of `Virtual DNA Analysis`, which allows a combined evaluation of different genotyping techniques.

Helmberg-SCORE 5 utilizes a proprietary database. Helmberg-SCORE 5 uses three relational Access database files with internal tables for various purposes. The allele database file and typing kit file contain static data about the virtual test lots and alleles (of that version of the IMGT database). Additionally, this technology is static, which means that it never changes the content of these files. All data entered by the user related to patients (if the lab has decided to store patient information in Helmberg-SCORE 5), samples and tests, as well as the analysis results for all tests is stored in the user database or in the user`s local drive.

As of April 14, 2016, CareDx has completed its acquisition of Allenex, which covers the Olerup brand. The vendor is updated from Olerup to CareDx.
