Description: The Actiwave Setup Software is a platform that configures, sets up, and downloads the Actiwave software that interfaces with the Actiwave range of medical recording hardware. The Actiwave range of miniature biomedical waveform recorders are designed to capture electromyography (EMG; muscle), electroencephalography (EEG; brain), electrocardiogram (ECG; heart) and acceleration signals over a thirty-six (36) hour period. At the end of the recording session, the leads are disconnected from the Actiwave recorder and the recorder is connected to a dock. The Actiwave Setup Software then transfers the EMG/ EEG/ ECG data from the recorder to the user`s computer for further analysis.

This technology does not require or employ a database to store or manipulate data. EMG, EEG, and ECG data is saved to the user`s local drive as either Comma-Seperated Values (CSV) or European data Format (EDF).

Note: This software is included with the purchase of the Actiwave hardware. A third-party EDF viewer must be acquired in order to view the Actiwave files. As of 10/26/2020 this software and its linked url was no longer active (https://www.camntech.com/14-products/actiwave/32-actiwave-software-packages)
