Description: V-Direct is a standalone software that can be run as a service or an application. This technology communicates with the Versus concentrator hardware on a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/ Internet Protocol (IP) address and passes the data to the Transaction Engine. This technology is a real-time locating system for clinical settings and uses Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) badges and infrared technology to automate tracking and workflow patterns.

Data collected by V-Direct is based on identification (ID) number of a reusable badge and ID numbers of clinical locations. This technology implements Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server database, which maintains historical location and process event information that enables tracking reports and workflow analysis.

Note: There is no dedicated website for V-Direct.
