Description: Advanced Temporal Language Aided Search (ATLAS) is an open source software for researchers to conduct scientific analyses on standardized observational data converted to the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) Common Data Model (CDM) Version 5 (V5). Researchers can create cohorts by defining groups of people based on an exposure to a drug or diagnosis of a particular condition using healthcare claims data. ATLAS has vocabulary searching of medical concepts to identify people with specific conditions and drug exposures. Patient profiles can be viewed within a specific cohort allowing visualization of a particular subject`s healthcare records. Population effect level estimation analyses allows for comparison of two different cohorts and leverages R packages.

ATLAS provides the ability to search and explore data source profiles, standardized vocabulary, and individual patient profiles in a database. This technology allows users to store patient-level observational health data and convert their data to Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics` (OHDSI) open community data standards (including the OMOP CDM). Statistical data such as cohorts can be saved to the ATLAS/OMOP CDM database.

This technology can utilize databases. Data can be stored locally on either a server or a user workstation.
