Description: Smart Fit is audiology software required to program and fit GN ReSound hearing instruments. The software controls the acoustic amplification levels in a hearing instrument and provides initial default amplification settings based on hearing threshold levels and audiogram data. The software computes Max Stable Gain values, which are estimates of the amount of gain that can be safely applied to a hearing instrument before it begins to cause feedback, to make sure a patient`s residual hearing does not get damaged.

The Smart Fit software will save the settings of the patient`s hearing instruments to both the physical hardware and a NOAH database upon the completion of the fitting.

This product was previously known as Aventa, the name has been changed after some feature updates.
