Description: Java Architecture for Extensible Markup Language (XML) Binding (JAXB) Reference Implementation (RI) provides a reference implementation for the JAXB specification, which allows for marshalling and un-marshalling of Java objects to XML. JAXB is a part of the Java Standard Edition (SE) platform and one of the Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in the Java Enterprise Edition (EE) platform. This implementation is part of Glassfish, a reference implementation of the Java EE standards. JAXB RI provides additional marshaling properties not defined by the JAXB specification and can be used independently in applications requiring the ability to marshal and un-marshal Java objects to XML.

The developer of this technology has been moved from to the EE4J initiative. This repository has been archived as all activities are now happening in the corresponding Eclipse repository.
