Description: The Java Application Verification Kit (AVK) for the Enterprise provides the ability for developers to test applications for the correct use of Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application programming interfaces and for portability across J2EE compliant application servers. Once AVK uses static verification to determine that the application suite`s deployment descriptors follow the J2EE specification, a user deploys and runs an application utilizing existing test suites or manual tests. Java AVK then summarizes the results gathered during the verification process based on the established guidelines.

J2EE is a platform-independent, Java-centric environment from GlassFish for developing, building and deploying Web-based enterprise applications online.
