Description: The Info Location Based Intelligence (LBI) solution allows healthcare organizations to track real-time data about the location and status of equipment, staff, patients and environmental conditions. Infor LBI is designed for scalability to meet specific needs of different healthcare enterprises. Infor LBI continuously monitors tagged entities to capture real-time events through a connector framework. Data is returned to a centralized database, and LBI applies configured rules to generate as many automated resulting actions as needed, such as sending alerts, assigning tasks, or changing statuses. The LBI workflow engine leverages rules to allow administrators to configure workflows to match an organization’s specific processes. For example, real-time location data can be used to track patients and staff members through an entire patient visit from registration to discharge. Notifications and tasks can be assigned or sent to staff as milestones are completed.

Data captured by the LBI system provides insight into an organization’s ongoing operations, including but not limited to information about equipment locations and status, equipment and location maintenance, patient flow, dashboards, and extended reports. This technology can integrate with Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server database.

This entry covers the Desktop Edition of this technology and not any mobile versions. Please note that the implementation of mobile technology applications that operate on Mobile Operating Systems must be reviewed and authorized by the Mobile Technology and Endpoint Security Engineering Team: https://dvagov.sharepoint.com/sites/OITMT/SitePages/MTHome.aspx
