Description: Lifelines iEEG Centrum is a cloud-based application intended for the management of workflow during analysis of clinical electroencephalogram (EEG) examinations as well as long term archive. The clinical EEG data includes EEG waveforms and digital video. This technology uses proprietary software installed on servers in a data center (server software) and the user`s computer (client software) to deliver the service. The purpose of the server system is to store and process EEG, digital video, and data concerning the patient.

Please note that there is no specific product page for this technology and thus the vendor webpage is used in its place.

Users can upload EEG/Video data directly from EEG acquisition systems or from Review Client systems. The uploaded EEG/Video is stored by the cloud service and authorized users of the system can access the data through client software provided by the vendor from a remote computer. No data is stored on the client side. Servers are located off-site from the vendor`s corporate office in Florida. No servers are stored on VA premises and there is no self-hosted option at the time of writing.

The TRM decisions in this entry only apply to technologies and versions owned, operated, managed, patched, and version-controlled by VA. This includes technologies deployed as software installations on VMs within VA-controlled cloud environments (e.g. VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC)). Cloud services provided by the VAEC, which are listed in the VAEC Service Catalog, and those controlled and managed by an external Cloud Service Provider (i.e. SaaS) are not in the purview of the TRM. For more information on the use of cloud services and cloud-based products within VA, including VA private clouds, please see the Enterprise Cloud Solutions Office (ECSO) Portal at: https://dvagov.sharepoint.com/sites/OITEPMOECSO
