Description: Tasktop Integration Hub takes fragmented Software Delivery applications and brings them together, creating an integrated software delivery value stream that is designed to improve team effectiveness and project visibility. Tasktop connects applications within Project and Portfolio Management (PPM), requirements management, test management and defect tracking, agile planning, and Information Technology (IT) service desk, and integrates these applications to each other by synchronizing the artifacts across them.

Tasktop Integration Hub is a standalone, independent application that is hosted and managed by VA employees on a server within VA`s network. This technology communicates with other systems (cloud and local, in-network systems) via publicly-supported, third-party Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

This technology stores information on both the Tasktop Integration Hub server hard drive, as well as within the Oracle, Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, My SQL, or PostgreSQL operational database provided by VA. On the hard drive where Tasktop is installed, Tasktop stores log files and encryption keys. In the operational database, Tasktop stores the integration configurations, encrypted repository credentials, and artifact data. Tasktop connects to the operational database via a username and password provided by VA using Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) drivers and protocols.

At the time of writing, this technology is limited to on premises VA Enterprise Cloud implementations. Other uses of this technology are unapproved.

This technology was sold to Plainview by Tasktop in 2022.
