Description: Document Storage Systems (DSS) Enterprise Reporting is a health data reporting technology. The technology provides national-level statistical reports displayed in a variety of graphs and dashboard tools. Data is extracted daily, performed using Health-Level Seven (HL7) messaging and sent through a middle tier to a centralized Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server database. The module is configured to use the Mirth interface engine as the middle tier between Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) and the SQL Server. National data is displayed using a web-based front-end graphical user interface (GUI) reporting tool, allowing designated users real-time access. Reports display summary metrics/statistics and allow users to view enterprise, regional and Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISN) data. Additionally, DSS Enterprise Reporting can customize elements of a report, such as the report name and how regions are defined and displayed.

This technology utilizes a Microsoft SQL Server Database.

There is no dedicated website for this technology.
