Description: SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Visual Studio is a Software Development Kit (SDK) for .NET developers who want to embed the Crystal Reports runtime into their application. Crystal Reports allows the user to create complex and professional reports in a Graphical User Interface (GUI)-based program. Additionally, Crystal Reports can access data from most database sources, as well as to proxy data. The wizards included in the GUI designer enable the user to set formatting, grouping, charting, and other criteria.

This technology supports Open Database Connectivity (ODBC)-compliant databases, such as Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, Oracle Database, and Microsoft Excel. Crystal Reports for Visual Studio draws data from data sources in order to generate and populate reports but does not require its own database implementation.
