Description: Hidex Automatic Gamma Counter (AMG) Software is free software used in conjunction with the Hidex AMG hardware. This software is used on a Personal Computer (PC) software and operated by a touch screen. In order to measure nuclides emitting gamma radiation, the user needs to load racks of sample vials into the counter and specify an appropriate measurement template. A measurement template includes specifications for counting time, windows, and efficiency, and is usually nuclide-specific. Measurement of background and its subtraction from count results allows the calculation of corrected counts or Counts Per Minute (CPM).

Hidex AMG Software collects data from the Hidex AMG instrument hardware and stores data in a Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server database. The data is stored in a database file, .db that only the Hidex AMG Software can access/read and is stored locally on the client computer`s hard drive. Hidex AMG Software writes to the database file in real-time as a run is conducted. All information associated with a run, including the spectrum, is stored. The raw data cannot be edited.

Note: There is no dedicated webpage for this software.
