Description: Alertus Override Client overrides Alertus Desktop Notification Client when two systems are in place to control the foremost display and assures the emergency alert dominates the screen during emergencies. Similarly to the Alertus Desktop Notification Client, the Override Client polls the Alertus Server at established intervals (once every 20 seconds by default) to report its operational status and query the Alertus Server for active alerts. If an alert is active the Override Client will activate displaying the alert on the foremost viewing layer of the digital signage or Cable TV component. The alert will remain visible for its duration.
